Penguin eMediaLibrary Announcement

Effective immediately, Penguin Publishers announced it will no longer make its ebooks and eAudiobooks available to OverDrive for library lending. Therefore, new titles from some popular authors and series will be unavailable to library patrons in electronic form.

Penguin titles currently in our eMediaLibrary catalog will continue to be available for checkout. However, Penguin titles in the Kindle format will no longer be delivered via Wi-Fi. This means that Kindle users will need to connect their Kindle to a computer and perform a direct download of the library loan from the Amazon website to their device. Click here for instructions.

Patrons using the Kindle app on an iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch, or on a Kindle Fire or other Android device (except Nook Color / Tablet) have the option to install the OverDrive Media Console app and download library ebooks in EPUB format instead. Select and download the app for your device on the OverDrive Media Console page, or click the links below for device-specific instructions.
